We recently completed phase-1 of our network infrastructure upgrade in Denver
with great results. This upgrade came after the great success we have had with
our network infrastructure in Los Angeles, prompting us to adopt the same
network infrastructure setup in both our Denver and Chicago facilities. This
upgrade will provide Multi-10GE connectivity from each of our racks to our
network core routers, providing our customers with many benefits, including:
1.Increased network availability, ensuring available bandwidth to our customers
at all times.
2.Increased buffer availability allowing our DDoS protection systems to filter
attacks with minimal service disruption.
3.Fully redundant 10GE network infrastructure.
4.Seamless transition between 100M and 1G service levels.
5.Top of the line core-certified switches providing the best switching wire-rate
performance.
Currently we have completed the following tasks:
1.Upgrade our network core infrastructure to allow the rack switches transition.
2.Replaced 80% of our Gigabit rack switches with the new switch configurations.
Pending Tasks:
1.Complete Gigabit rack switches upgrade (completed by end of year).
2.Replace all other switches onsite (completed by end of Q1 2015).
We are also working on two new service features that we will be announcing very
